What are the Zoom AI enhancements?

AI Zoom Transcriptions

Using generative AI, Nutshell now supports transcriptions and summarizations of your Zoom meetings. The new AI-powered Zoom enhancements enable your team to: 

  • Get a full meeting transcription with just a click 
  • Generate a summary of key highlights of the conversation 

These features help your team recap Zoom meetings, keep track of important details, improve collaboration, and get the bigger picture of how Zoom meetings fit into the larger relationship with prospects and customers. 

How do I generate AI transcriptions and summaries?

Open any in-progress or logged Zoom activity and check the boxes next to “Transcribe this call after logging” and “Automatically summarize this call” to generate your AI-powered transcription and summary. These will automatically process once the Zoom call is logged, and may take a few moments to appear in your logged activity. 

You can then access the transcription and summary from anywhere you see the Zoom activity, such as the Activities section on the Sales dashboard and from the timelines of any Person, Company, or Lead associated with the activity.

How can I access this feature?

The ability to generate AI transcriptions and summaries of Zoom calls is available on the Sales Business and Sales Enterprise plans. 

What else is new?

Along with AI-powered transcriptions and summarizations, Nutshell’s Zoom integration got a few additional updates:

  • Nutshell now detects Zoom activities in your Activity list and displays them with a Zoom icon so they’re easier to spot. 
  • The new Zoom activity modal makes it easier to log, take notes, and connect with your Zoom calls directly from Nutshell.
  • All your Zoom meetings are now accessible in a new Meetings section in the Sales menu, meaning you no longer need to search through your Settings. From here, you can log your meetings, view recordings, and see all your Zoom calls at a glance.
  • The new Zoom Settings page lets you choose whether to log Zoom calls manually or automatically.

In the future, you’ll also be able to access Microsoft Teams and Google Meet calls from the Meetings section.
